About me

I've always been drawn to problems that don't have obvious answers. They usually mean questioning how things are done, trying unfamiliar ideas, and getting people together to find a better approach.
Supply chain has been my professional home for more than a decade. I've worked with organizations across industries and geographies on their planning processes, new systems and larger transformations. I started in consulting at Bristlecone, became a partner at Westernacher, and am now a Senior Manager at valantic, where I lead a team and drive AI initiatives in the Supply Chain Planning practice.
What keeps the work interesting is how technology, business and people affect each other. A technically sound solution doesn't automatically succeed. You also have to understand how the organization works, why people decide the way they do, and what it takes to make a change stick.
I've also always been curious about what comes next. That curiosity has led me to emerging technologies, from process mining to agentic AI, and to working out what they could mean for supply chains. Not every experiment leads somewhere. I still think testing ideas is worth it, including the ones that fail, because that is how assumptions get checked.
More recently, AI has raised a whole new set of possibilities and questions. I've experimented with building agentic systems myself. Beyond what AI can automate, I want to understand how it might change the way organizations make decisions and how people build expertise, and how we keep human judgment and accountability as systems become more autonomous.
I try to approach these questions with curiosity and a healthy dose of skepticism. Being able to do something with technology doesn't mean we should. I want to know whether it solves a real problem and creates value.
I enjoy working with people who see things differently, questioning settled thinking, and turning promising ideas into practical solutions. Good ideas can come from anyone, whatever their title or seniority.
This website is where I share what I'm learning and the ideas I'm exploring. Most of it is about supply chains, strategy, AI, and where they overlap.
